Swim Dock Studios is actively looking to build our slate of content.

Our primary focus is currently on UNSCRIPTED: Reality, Documentary, and Talk Shows.

We love projects that build and showcase CANADIAN talent. We are looking for both audio (podcast) and visual (tv shows, web series etc) projects. All projects & pitches must have plans for a strong and innovative digital strategy

We are particularly interested in:

Talk/Panel Shows:

Original Panel Shows that allow Canadian talent and humour to shine (We love shows like Because News or Big Fat Quiz of the Year)
Innovative Interview Web/podcasts Shows (Think about the chicken shows: Hot Ones and Chicken Shop Date are both great!)

Reality Shows:

Reality Competition Shows with heart (We love shows like Canada’s Ultimate Challenge, Master Chef Canada and Farming for Love)
Original Formats that showcase our established talent (Think Battle of the Blades, Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, and The Traitors)
Talent Finding Shows that boost unknown Canadian talent and that families that can watch together to discover the next wave of Canadian talent (Canadian Idol, Dragons Den etc)
Unstructured Reality Shows that focus on unique groups of Canadians (putting a Canadian twist on the best of Bravo)

Documentaries:

Feature Length Documentaries with a focus on Canadian pop culture heros (We adored Mr. Dressup: The Magic of Make-Believe)
Short Documentaries about Niche Canadian experiences (like the Midland Butter Tart Festival!)
